Creekside Leos

Creeside's Charming Christmas Chestnut, Our Sweet "Chessie" - CHIC #156879

 

When our beloved Rue had her third litter, we knew that it was time for her to retire. We decided to keep one of her "C" litter puppies to continue on our legacy of Creekside Leos. She joined our family Christmas of 2019 and has been such a sweetheart ever since. We have met and loved many Leonbergers over almost 20 years but Chessie is just about as sweet and affection as they come. She loves just about everyone, but no one more than Mary Lynn. She is always found about three steps behind. We have loved having her as a part of her family and know that she will make an excellent mother to her litter we are expecting soon. 

 

She is good tempered, does well with children, and loves being with the family as much as possible. She is very beautiful with her gorgeous coloration and gentle face. She loved to play and wrestle with her mama, Rue and it was a big adjustment for her when Rue passed away in October of 2021. Luckily that adjustment period was short lived when we welcomed a new addition to our Leo family in August of 2022 when our little Gretel joined our family.

We made the decision to breed her and in April 2021 the breeding took place with Deputy Dumpling V. Sanftenloewen "Herman". Nine healthy puppies were born.

 

Chesse's latest litter is due to be born mid-April 2023. The breeding took place in February to the handsome Vesuvio von Alpensee "Dante".
